Basal Cell Carcinoma

The commonest form of skin cancer – surgical removal (wide local excision or Mohs Surgery) is the commonest treatment, and tumours on the face usually require reconstruction.

Squamous Cell Carcinoma

These tumours may behave aggressively and require a wide local excision to remove them. Reconstruction may be with a local flap or skin graft. Where cancer has spread to the lymph nodes, removal as a lymph node clearance may be indicated. Jonathan works with a range of specialists to ensure the highest quality care.

Melanoma

Jonathan has a wide experience in clinical management and research in melanoma. Surgical removal, reconstruction, sentinel lymph node biopsy and lymph node clearance may be indicated depending on how aggressive the cancer is.

Mohs Surgery Reconstruction

Mohs surgery is a technique to remove skin cancers, most commonly BCC’s. Jonathan uses a range of techniques to reconstruct areas of cancer excision. This includes local flaps, skin grafts, cartilage grafts (from the ear, nose, rib) and more extensive procedures to rebuild entire structures such as the nose and eyelid.

Mole Removal

Jonathan’s expertise ensures a comfortable experience for a prompt and early diagnosis, with minimal scarring.

Cyst Removal

This is a common procedure with minimal scarring and discomfort. This quick, outpatient procedure can improve symptoms quickly.

Lipoma Removal

These benign (non-cancerous) tumours are composed of fat cells and can be effectively removed in a short 30 minute outpatient procedure.
